What are the Months of the Year, According to the Scriptures?

The months of the year that we are following today are pagan. We have been scattered among the heathens, so we have to go by whatever they have set up. But all glory to the Most High, he is slowly waking us up to the realities of what we are dealing with and who we are. We are searching the scriptures, and calling upon the Most High to open our minds to wisdom and understanding.

The months of the year are laid out in the Scriptures as listed below. These are the months that I have found so far. Maybe the other months are listed in some "lost book" somewhere.

It is important to note that a month runs from one new moon to another.

1st Month (Nisan/Abib, Esther 3:7; Exodus 13:4; Exodus 23:15;  Exodus 34:18; Deuteronomy 16:1; Nehemiah 2:1)

2nd Month (Zif, 1 Kings 6:37; 2 Chronicles 3:2)

3rd Month (Sivan, Esther 8:9)

4th Month (no reference)

5th Month (no reference)

6th Month (no reference)

7th Month (Ethanim, 1 Kings 8:2)

8th Month (Bul, 1 Kings 6:38)

9th Month (Chisleu, Zechariah 7:1; Nehemiah 1:1)

10th Month (Tebeth, Esther 2:16)

11th Month (Sebat, Zechariah 1:7)

12th Month (Adar, Esther 8:12; Esther 9:1; Esther 3:13; Ezra 6:15)
